Think Twice About Stone Soup Comic Strip

Is it just me, or have we again drifted into the dark night our political souls?

My first signal of this…before Occupy and Arab Spring…was that the only ones making cogent observations were the cartoonists. It struck me that Stone Soup…a fairly moderate family cartoon could not longer restrain him/herself and came out with the cartoon below…followed by another today.

Now I need a cartoonist to explain why so many dumb Americans think the second cartoon about the center is not funny but real…

How many continue to follow leaders whose only purpose is to enrich themselves at the expense of the many, including many of their dumb-ass followers…who could ever think homo-sapiens would reach the intellectual cul de sac at the very moment when their iPhones became smart…perhaps smarter then the owners of the phones.
